Use of Google Analytics with anonymization function

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, called "Google" in the following. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files which are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information provided by these cookies, for example time, place and frequency of your website visit, including your IP address, is sent to Google in the USA and saved there. We use Google Analytics with the suffix "_gat._anonymizeIp" on our website. In this case your IP address is shortened and consequently anonymized by Google within member states of the European Union or in other countries which are contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports for us on the website activities and to provide other services related to use of the website and of the Internet. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf.
According to its own statements, Google will not associate your IP address with any other information held by Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser software appropriately; however, please note that if you do so, you may not be able to use the full functionality of our website.

In addition, Google provides an opt-out add-on for the most common browsers, which gives you more control over which data is collected by Google on the websites that you visit. The add-on communicates with the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) to indicate that information about the website visit should not be sent to Google Analytics. However, the Google Analytics opt-out add-on for browsers does not prevent information being sent to us or to other web analysis services that we may use. You can obtain further information on installation of the browser add-on via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

You can contact us by email and/or using a contact form on our website. In this case the information provided by the user is stored for the purpose of making contact. This information is not forwarded to third parties. The collected data is also not compared with any data collected by other components of our website.

For questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal information, the correction, blocking or deletion of data, or revocation of consents granted, you can contact us free of charge in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act. Please note that you have a right to rectification of inaccurate data and deletion of personal data, insofar as there is no legal obligation to retain such data.
